Is that photo from a film or is it a distraction because you tried to pass a work of fiction off as evidence.

A still from a film is indeed not evidence, but it's also not the only evidence the kid's provided, and even if you discount the boy's story simply as a story, he had provided text messages, instagram captions (that were deleted but saved)...but he had cut a deal not to show the photos they took (guess he might lose the settlement money now - not sure how that works).

And then there's this from the NYT, so it's obviously all lies, fake news, and propaganda simply as a rule, but if it isn't, well:

In her statement, Ms. McGowan described Ms. Argento as someone who had been a friend whom she had “loved” — all in the past tense. Ms. McGowan also said she had urged her partner to tell the police about the texts from Ms. Argento, which Rain Dove told Ms. McGowan had been done. Ms. McGowan also acknowledged that she had worried that the #MeToo movement “was about to be in jeopardy.”

(And "Rain Dove" is the name of her partner/girlfriend/boyfriend/itfriend, not the name of a soothingly perfurmed brand of soap).
