Couldn't it also be most people just think of it in terms of: "Nameless foreigners in Farawayistan getting killed for weird foreign reasons, so IDGAF"?

I think most of them willfully choose to disbelieve it is happening for the time being.

A smaller percentage of them know it is happening or at least want it to happen.

When the images of mass bodies come to us, most of the ones who chose to disbelieve it will choose to defend it somehow rather than admit they were wrong about something so vile. The ones who wanted it to happen will lead the rationalizing.

But most of the people in the middle and in the various camps on the right will become hardened against leftism like never before.

South Africa is where leftism leads you. That's our future if we don't stop them.
