Imagine all the typos that will occur in the social justice tribunals over in the Marxist zones during the war.

We are dealing with almost identical kinds of people here in America. I cannot see how to easily avoid a civil war not unlike the Spanish Civil War at this point. These people are not salvageable. We can only isolate them and separate from them. But failing that, they will eventually bring this to war. It's just what they are.
Worth a repost, and worth a listen:
There has to be a political solution to this; it's not going to come culturally, because these people that advance these positions cannot be culturally redeemed. They are too far gone. There is no coming back. The disease has overtaken them. Yankeeism has overtaken them. And they can't come back from it.
And we live in New England; and Yankeeism is everywhere. It doesn't matter is you're in the South, North, it's everywhere. So, you have to start thinking small. You have to think locally and act locally. That is the only way to do it.

Incredibly unfortunate selection of a term for a new idea.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yankee
The term "Yankee" and its contracted form "Yank" have several interrelated meanings, all referring to people from the United States; its various senses depend on the context. Outside the United States, "Yank" is used informally to refer to any American, including Southerners. Within Southern American areas, "Yankee" is a derisive term which refers to all Northerners, or specifically to those from the regions of the Union side of the American Civil War.
Elsewhere in the United States, it largely refers to people from the Northeastern states, but especially those with New England cultural ties, such as descendants of colonial New England settlers, wherever they live.[1] Its sense is sometimes more cultural than geographical, emphasizing the Calvinist Puritan Christian beliefs and traditions of the Congregationalists who brought their culture when they settled outside New England. The speech dialect of Eastern New England English is called "Yankee" or "Yankee dialect".[2] The informal British and Irish "Yank" refers to Americans in general. It is especially popular among Britons and Australians and sometimes carries pejorative overtones.[3]

No, the term was highlighted. I wanted to know your definition, since it was so in the forefront of the initial statement.
I just figured you’d have something to say about it.
It's not a term I made up; what you are reading is a quote of someone else (McClanahan). I told you what I thought the definition was as I understand his meaning: the Yankee pathway laid out in Albion's Seed.
"Puritanical state-as-religion totalitarianism," if you wish for me to make an inartful stab at what I think he means.
Another hint: It's not disparaging to you or other New Englanders just because of where you live as I see it; I don't take it as a geographic epithet. Also from the quote I posted twice in this thread now:
And we live in New England; and Yankeeism is everywhere. It doesn't matter is you're in the South, North, it's everywhere.

That’s not an answer, it’s a way of showing the speaker has no knowledge of what thry blather about.
Define "thry."
You're a peach, bro. I dig you the most, seriously. :goteam: :drunk:
Spell checker didn’t catch it... that being said I have disagree with the definition a bit.
It may have been 50 years ago, but for the last 30 years, nope... not even close.
With the removal of religion, and trying to destroy the very foundation of what our country was founded on... it hasn’t been that way for quite some time.
Religion has lost its way in Mass, and not for the best.

Didn't you learn your lesson the last time we red assed you for using wikipedia against people who know what they're talking about?
