It takes a lot for socialists to run out of other people's money. They'll find new ways to starve and kill off the people for as long as they can. The only thing you can pretty much guarantee they won't do is the leader(s) won't give up anything from themselves while the masses starve and die.

I'd go with independent Venezuelan citizen. Who will get caught, tortured, and admit to being a US spy on air.

As for SubF's invasion speculations...: Easier and cheaper to declare a domestic. fifth column enemy. Purges worked fantastic for Stalin. He's still one of the most admired Russian leaders of all time in Russia, and the giant portrait of Mao still looms over the Tianament Square in Beijing.
