Q: "What is Socialism?"
Leftists answer: "Like Scandinavia! Yay!"
Right-wing answer: "Like Scandinavia! Boo!"

https://today.yougov.com/topics/politic ... /socialism
Research from the latest YouGov/Economist survey shows that Americans tend to think that socialism means a large welfare state with high progressive taxation (41%), rather than either widespread abolition of private property (19%) or a centrally planned, one-party state (12%). People who have a favorable opinion of socialism, however, are actually more likely to have a radical interpretation of the ideology. 26% of people who view socialism favorably say that they think it means an economic system where most property is owned collectively. People with an unfavorable opinion of socialism are more likely to say that it means a European-style welfare state, by 54% to 44%.

In other words, 26% of "socialists" actually want marxism.

Like Cuba and Venezuela.

We already have a European-style welfare state because we fucking invented it.

26% of Socialists actually want Socialism, and know what it means. The 26% might be Marxists, it would be the most likely form of Socialists, but they could also adhere to non-Marxist Socialism. Point is that you only have 26% of supporters of "Socialism", who actually support actual Socialism. Majority are still ignorant of what the term means, of course.

I don't see a way to stop the Socialists in Amerika -

Marxists have taken over Schools and are pumping out little marxists on an annual basis. Our schools are producing illiterate idiots and our "universities" are producing non-critical thinkers who think "Western" civilization needs to be destroyed.

DC has become too corrupted to regulate out of control capitalism via anti-monopoly laws, which in turn has created huge wealth gap.

The DNC poverty machine keeps importing poverty and making perpetuating/growing the poverty plantations, i.e., inner cities.

The elites think they can position themselves at the top of/control the new Social government.

Middle America is simply fucked - it's just a matter of time.

Sure, pockets can try to resit the Feds - but they will get crushed....

Trump was a death thrall of a dying America.

The future really is a giant ass boot.

Rationing is coming...it always does under socialism.

Oh, for crying out loud...

Institute minimum academic standards for who gets hired to lecture at colleges and universities, and force the people administrating those colleges to do some goddamn research into wether or not a field of study is actually an academic discipline, rather than simply a tea party for overaged kids to decide who the meanies are and knock their shit over? Hint: Find universities in the rest of the world, discover if they have the same problem to the same extent you have, and if they don't, maybe try and copy abit from them.

My solution would be:

Disband and bulldoze all (public) college "dorms" (private ones should just be encouraged to). Kids shouldn't live on campus. They should live alongside real, fellow Americans, so they'd realize that real America isn't like their isolated, little college "villages".
