Assigning blame for fires by numbers fuckery
We've all heard how humans are causing these massive fires in the west every year. Smokey says only you can prevent Wildfires, stats are thrown out that 90% of wildfires are started by humans, etc. Leading one to believe that humans are out there burning down Yosemite or some such stuff.

What they don't tell you is that overwhelmingly, Lighting causes fires in the more arid west and in the more densely populated east, humans are causing fires.

Fact is, Lightning results in twice the acres burned as human caused fires. But that goes against the theme of man is bad for the environment.
