Women Twice as Likely to Initiate Divorce

The findings were based on a survey titled “How Couples Meet and Stay Together,” which collected data from 2,262 adults in heterosexual relationships. Participants provided information about their relationship status between 2009 and 2015. Analysis of the data revealed that women initiated 69% of divorces, while men only initiated 31%. However, in cases where an unmarried man and woman lived together, each partner was equally likely to decide to break up.

The most interesting factor here is that women are about equally likely to initiate a break up in an extra-marital relationship. Could it be that family courts are weaponized against men, and women look to receive a substantial amount of money from their ex-husbands, making an incentive for them to break up?? Hmm..

This might have something to do with why women are twice as likely to destroy a family than a men:

Dads continue to pay child support payments more often and in larger amounts than mothers, according to new statistics on child support providers and payments released by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Men account for 85% of those ordered to pay child support.

Even in the rare instance where the mother is ordered to pay child support, courts are not ordering women to pay as much as male providers. Annual child support payments averaged $5,450 from male providers and $3,500 from female providers, nearly 56% less.

Overall, child support payments averaged $5,150 annually, or $430 per month.

According to the report, 59% of the $41.7 billion ($24.4 billion) in total payments from support providers were for child support for children under 21, paid by 4.8 million parents. The remaining amount was support paid to children over 21, parents, and other adults not living in the provider’s household.

And also a HUGE factor into why so many men could be facing retirement penniless. Instead of blaming the men crushed by this injustice, maybe stand up for what is right for a change.

Also, when mom realizes that child support isn't enough, and she's hit the wall and can't find a new provider, who do you think is going to pay for her retirement? She doesn't have any either. Destroying the family often puts TWO people in the dumps.

You said families, not marriages. Since half of single mothers have never married, that is a significant distinction.

I never argued that the courts were not in favor of the females in divorce court. You just ran to that point based on me not buying into your whole rant about every woman scheming against their man to eventually take advantage of them and cash in.

Is filing for divorce your definition of destroying a family? The #1 reason stated by women when filing for divorce is the man's infidelity. That makes the man in at least some of these cases at fault for the destruction of the family.

So 1/2 of families are broken up due to divorce the other half were never married.
Of the 50% that never married, it's a 50/50 split on who broke things off.
Of the 50% that divorced, 70% were initiated by women. Not all of these are the women's fault. Same goes the other way for the 30% of men filing.

At best you're looking at a 60/40 split on who is at fault. That is not enough to lay the blame "by and large" at the feet of women.

My only issue is that our Justice System says that Males bear the responsibility for Sexual activity from how we look at a women to the child or foetus produced. However, Men do not have the Authority to make decisions over life of a foetus or if the child is born whether or not he wants to support a child.

My only issue is that our Justice System says that Males bear the responsibility for Sexual activity from how we look at a women to the child or foetus produced. Unmarried men cannot be held responsible for children under current policy. Black women in particular refuse to let the fathers participate because doing so results in less welfare gibs to mom. Black women are responsible for fatherlessness in black communities. Nobody else. Democrats are merely facilitators, just as they are to us in creating incentives for white women to destroy the marriage and enslave the father. The women made these choices.

God I very much doubt is going to exempt women for all these fucked up choices they have made simply because evil institutions made it easier for them to do it.

Men by and large are not responsible for fatherlessness in America, or any of the death, human misery, and social decay this created. Women made these choices everywhere.
