Good one, Martin. I'm reminded of a discussion we almost got off the ground last year about sunset clauses, expiration dates, updating laws to match the will of the people, keeping people invested and interested in actually knowing something about basic civics and the corruption of the state, &c. &c.

Let's cut out the dead wood and drive a stake through the dead hand of Wilson, FDR, and all the other grifters. Why not make every new Congress renew the entire U.S. Code and CFR every two years? Throw that in with a 20 year expiration date on the Constitution, and now we're talking.

It would take an affirmative act of the convention to repeal existing statutes, I would expect. Totally within the scope of an Art. V convention, though. Nothing controversial about that power.
