This isn't an issue so much as those that know how to use it, and may later get their hands onto 3D metal printers.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 1:46 pm3D-printed gun blueprints can be downloaded starting next month, ending lengthy legal battle
Right now 3-D Printed guns aren't really much. What this ruling does is allows US Gun Nerds room, free from prosecution to dive into the possibilities and make them into something really big. They will too. Don't doubt me. Gun Nerds are a crazy bunch, they love tinkering with guns and figuring out 'what else' they can do. This is how we ended up with legal AR's that are belt fed with rapid fire capabilities and completely legal.

I think that's a ways out, frankly I know nothing about them. The Conservative wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 1:51 pmThis isn't an issue so much as those that know how to use it, and may later get their hands onto 3D metal printers.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 1:46 pm3D-printed gun blueprints can be downloaded starting next month, ending lengthy legal battle

What folks do ignore is the ability for people in the country to produce weapons at home and in their communities. There are tons of people with home machinist shops and CNC machines. That could produce real weapons easily...……………….. and some do now.

Yup. I know a few... also with about $20k - 30k I could put together a room that I could fabricate a gun from scratch and almost anything else I could think of.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 2:07 pmI think that's a ways out, frankly I know nothing about them.

So with this ruling, could other states that now have the ban in place have a standing saying that CA, one of the most strict countries in gun restrictions in the US can't ban magazine sizes, that other states can't?Okeefenokee wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 8:16 pmCalifornia: Federal Court Upholds Decision to Block California’s Magazine Ban

Yeah, and Amazingly the 9th Circuit just upheld Open Carry in Hawaii too. The State of Hawaii was saying the 2nd Amendment ended at your door step, the 9th said no, after the SCOTUS refused to see the case.
I didn't expect that.
I wonder if the SCOTUS kicked it back and said, see previous SCOTUS rulings.

What the fuck... That is awesome...
Could be an excellent survival weapon, without the noise of a firearm. $25

Somebody should design a more durable version of this. Maybe a metal ring, and better pouch material?
