Put a dragon head on the bow, or I’ll never respect you.Hastur wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 1:09 pmI do some fishing. This year the heat make it slow going. We get pike, perch and zander out here.
A dragon ship would be great but I would miss the cabin. This year it wouldn't have been a problem though. I could sleep under an open sky all summer when it is like this.

I don't really even know the difference between a boat and a ship in the way the Navy describes it. You just know a ship in practice. That's an interesting observation, though.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 1:10 pmThe best rule I've heard is that a boat leans inwards when it turns but a ship leans outwards.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 11:47 amMaxi 999 is a yacht. Hastur, he has a point. I had to look up what a Zander was, looks very much like a Walleye or Sauger of North America. White meat, pretty good eating.

Zander is often called pikeperch. Here's some good footage of what Stockholm fishing look like. These guys are good.C-Mag wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 1:24 pmCool.Hastur wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 1:09 pmI do some fishing. This year the heat make it slow going. We get pike, perch and zander out here.

Re: Europe, Boring Until it's Not
That's a bit misleading. The property manager is quoted as saying he is concerned for the safety of everybody, including children. While you and I might think it's stupid, this guy is responsible for keeping the communal property safe and it's his call.
If I left a huge inflatable pool in our communal property, the property manager would haul me out of the gym and make me take it down (she's a gym rat). It sounds like they have more freedom to do shit on their communal property than most condo owners in America do.
