Lieberman rejects socialism. Wonder which party will split first?

In short, Lieberman says Ocasio-Cortez is ill-informed, holds radical views, and will only serve to further divide Congress.

Lieberman takes Ocasio-Cortez to town over her open-border dreams of abolishing ICE, saying "This makes no sense unless you no longer want any rules on immigration or customs to be enforced. I have not heard anyone say that. Nonetheless, at least three credible candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination rushed to endorse Ms. Ocasio-Cortez’s position."

Because the policies Ms. Ocasio-Cortez advocates are so far from the mainstream, her election in November would make it harder for Congress to stop fighting and start fixing problems.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is a proud member of the Democratic Socialists of America, whose platform, like hers, is more Socialist than Democratic. Her dreams of new federal spending would bankrupt the country or require very large tax increases, including on the working class. Her approach foresees government ownership of many private companies, which would decimate the economy and put millions out of work.

Politifact Torches Ocasio-Cortez For Lying
“In our review, we found many reasons why unemployment is low, and not for the overwork that Ocasio-Cortez cited,” the article wrote. “The biggest factors include strong economic confidence and the long-running economic recovery.”

Politifact then cited the Department of Labor including a statistic that only six to seven million people have multiple jobs compared to 148 million Americans who only have one job. They added, “So by the official statistics, multiple job holders account for a tiny fraction of American workers.”

The article also pointed out that this disparity is not unusual and has remained nearly the same since the recovery from the Great Recession.

She was sort of correct. Unemployment is low because more people have jobs. A socialist complaining about everybody having jobs is a great endorsement for Trump when you really think about it.
