Most of us joke about something that is horrible because fuck it, it's better than crying about what we know to be a very probable event in our near future.

If you want to get upset with people about it, then talk to the people who think it's okay to mob up against other Americans and threaten them in public. Talk to the people who think women getting smashed in the face with a club deserved it for daring to go to an event one side doesn't like. The violence right now is entirely one-sided, and I am saying a big fuck you to the tone police like Joe Rogan when they castigate us for joking about the apparently inevitable as a kind of undercover defense of the indefensible on the left.

That's how these people operate. They know they can't rationally defend what the left is doing, so they make these false equivalences. "Everybody is doing it". Sure thing, dude. Whatever. You know.. the people getting attacked on the streets who are joking about what will happen when the violence gets reciprocated and then escalates.

The American right has been extremely restrained in recent years, but I think that restraint from day fucking one was a huge mistake because it only emboldened these degenerates to increase the violence to the point where eventually this is just going to snap. Had people said fuck that and fought back from day one we'd never be here today talking about civil war.
