The decision did not say that what the government did was wrong. It said the government's action was motivated by,

"a clear and impermissible hostility toward the sincere religious beliefs motivating his objection”

and that openly displaying that hostility, rather than appearing impartial, is what was wrong.

You're the last motherfucker around here who needs to bring up comprehension.

TC, you and I agree on what the ruling should have been. They should have said that the baker was protected, and the government was wrong to go after him.

I'm not telling you you're position is wrong. I'm trying to warn you away from thinking this case went the way it should have. The ruling said the government was wrong ONLY because they were openly hostile against his religious beliefs. In other words, if the government did the exact same thing, but did it with a smile on their face in a very friendly way, it would not have been wrong.

Gorsuch and Thomas wrote their opinions in favor of the baker, and made it very clear that they disagreed with Kennedy's opinion.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Monday ruled in favor of a Colorado baker who had refused to create a wedding cake for a gay couple. The court’s decision was narrow, and it left open the larger question of whether a business can discriminate against gay men and lesbians based on rights protected by the First Amendment.

The court passed on an opportunity to either bolster the right to same-sex marriage or explain how far the government can go in regulating businesses run on religious principles. Instead, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy’s majority opinion turned on the argument that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, which originally ruled against the baker, had been shown to be hostile to religion because of the remarks of one of its members.

At the same time, Justice Kennedy strongly reaffirmed protections for gay rights.

The point is this, the courts overstepped their bounds and the SCOTUS corrected it.

They actually pointed out that the reason this went so far and they went the way they went was that at the time of the issue, the state hadn’t legalized gay marriage.

Also, with the latest Buisness Red Hen discrimination for a public facing company is going to be back in the courts soon enough.

On that same note, he didn’t deny them service which is why also he said he would make them any other cake but a wedding cake (also in the document I linked to) Just not a wedding cake.

They could have asked for an unmarked birthday cake and put a topper on themselves.

He made a way out for them, and they, as well as the DNC and all other liberal bitches didn’t take it.

The reason they said hatred is because of political reasons they lower courts abused their position.

Long story short, this never should have even reached a court floor.

American Children Terrorized by CPS While Lawmakers Cry About Border Children

Do children belong to parents in the United States? Or do they belong to the state that allows parents to care for them and assume all financial and emotional burden while retaining no ultimate authority? The state would not be able to seize your car without a warrant, but your child is fair game. It seems that in most states, any CPS worker has the power to claim that a child is "in danger" without specifics and then remove the child with no hearing or judge's oversight. The parents are then put in a defensive position where they must fight the state for the return of the child instead of the state having to prove why the child needs to be removed from the home in the first place. This is done to babies who are still nursing and even children with special needs! Some of them end up dead.

How is this possible in America? Look to the Clintons for a law passed during their time in the White House. Hillary Clinton, in particular, fought hard for the passage of this terrible law.

The Daily Kos (unbelievably) reported: "The law is called the Adoption and Safe Families Act (ASFA). But that’s one of those Orwellian titles Congress loves. It’s not about adoption and it’s not about safe families. Passed in 1997, one year after the welfare law, it had exactly the same target. ASFA was about demonizing impoverished women, especially women of color, and taking away their children."

• ASFA encouraged a take-the-child-and-run mentality on the frontlines of child welfare. Thousands more families, overwhelmingly poor and disproportionately families of color, were destroyed by wrongful removal of the children.
  
  Instead of reducing the foster care population, ASFA increased it, trapping thousands more children in a system that, according to one major study, churns out walking wounded four times out of five.
  
  ASFA effectively turned the child welfare system into the ultimate middle-class entitlement: Step right up and take a poor person’s child for your very own.
  
  And when the army of childless yuppies didn’t show up to adopt in anywhere near the numbers predicted, ASFA created a generation of “legal orphans” with no ties to birth parents and no adoptive homes either — probably at least 100,000 more such “legal orphans” than had ASFA not become law.
