But they aren't. In particular Joe Manchin, Heidi Heitkamp, Jon Tester are not.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:07 pmWhat if I told you, why yes, they truly are that stupid?clubgop wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 6:59 pmPray they are this stupid.C-Mag wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 5:59 pmToo Rich....

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
People like that have no future in the democratic party. The democrats will just drum up some chicks who claimed the males sexually assaulted them. That problem will be solved. Manchin in particular is persona non grata with the left here in the Appalachians because of the mountain top removal thing. I am not too familiar with Heitkamp. I am sure they will think of something to scuttle her too, just like all the old blue dogs they ran out of the party.
There is no victory condition for the DNC establishment. They can't bring out the vote for Clintons and Liebermans any longer. The batshit people are going to win the primaries from here on out, most likely.
At the level of a House seat, sure. Maybe a few of these reasonable ones will hang on in various niche markets. But I am telling you.. shit is changing. The democrats are an urban party now, and guess what most people in the dense cities want..
What happened to the GOPe in 2016 is going to happen to the DNCe, except think about what that person is going to look like to the average American voter..

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
This looks like a move by Kennedy to sweeten the pot. Something to get dems out to vote. Maybe they think their lagging numbers are due to a large contingent of radicals who aren't fired up yet.
I think they are right that their numbers are lagging because of a large number of dems are not enthusiastic about voting for them right now. I think they are clueless as to why that is.

Interesting hypothesis. If this was an October surprise I would be fully on board with this. I don't think this will maintain momentum for 4 1/2 months unless confirmation hearings get drug out that long.Okeefenokee wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:22 pmThis looks like a move by Kennedy to sweeten the pot. If it had dropped in the middle of the immigration scuffle, I wouldn't think much of it, but it coming right after their immigration scuffle failure says to me it's their next play.Haumana wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:27 pmInteresting hypothesis. I think the reason they are lagging in polls is because a lot of regular people who happen to be democrats are getting turned off by the nutters. The type of democrat voters who aren't muslim appologists or marxists. The type of people who have jobs and a connection to reality, and can see their hysteria and bullshit for what it is. They probably don't like Trump, but they can see clearly that the DNC and MSM have lost their fucking minds.
They'll see this hysteria for what it is.

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
If I'm right, then they must have something else planned for Oktober.
I imagine there has to be someone in the DNC smart enough to have started working on this back in November '16 while we were all getting shit faced.

They are reigning the party in right now from what I've heard. Bunch of CIA candidates running to secure the neo-liberal agenda. I think they have dropped the prior losing strategy. Probably shook rn.Okeefenokee wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:36 pmIf it had dropped in the middle of the immigration scuffle, I wouldn't think much of it, but it coming right after their immigration scuffle failure says to me it's their next play.Haumana wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:27 pmInteresting hypothesis.
