I won't give any spoilers away but if you get the chance watch tonight's Spain v Portugal match.
Two of the giants of the game playing to their maximum ability.
Final score 1-0?
No. Watch it and find out.
I don’t have 4 hours to watch a boring damned soccer match

I can’t even keep control of the tv for that long.

If you watch it to satiate your own subconcious desires I'll not be the one to criticise you for it.
Too many twinks. It's the most beta sport out there that is at least athletic.
That would be figure skating.

Figure skating might visually look gay, but it's actually beast as fuck. It's similar to ballet. Look more into it and you will see it's elite athletics.

4 hours? This is not gridiron. A match takes 90 mins with no stoppages and only a few minutes added to each half for injury time.
I'd post a highlights video but bloody FIFA retain all the rights and aggresively pursue and remove any that are posted to sites such as youtube.

A soccer match is a great watch, actually -- if you have any rooting interest. The WC makes all the matches interesting. No interminable commercial breaks, and it's all wrapped up in a couple of hours.

Football (especially) and basketball could take a lesson. Baseball has its breaks sort of baked in the cake. Golf is slow, but if there's real drama, the pacing makes it great. Golf can be the very best TV, but its organic and can't really be manufactured. For example, check this week's U.S. Open. The USGA has given us Shinnecock Hills yet again as a brutal and essentially unplayable course. When a rail-master like Dustin Johnson is just grooving it there, and no one else can play it, so what? (BTW, M., I'm pulling for that limey chap Fleetwood big time if my boy Fowler isn't up there on the weekend.) If there's no drama, even the Masters is a drag after an hour or two.

But, soccer on TV? If you GAF about the match, that's good TV.

That was your criteria. Beta, but athletic.

Figure skaters are Super Humans. But also gay.

SPOILER ALERT

I have a genuine dislike for Portugal's Ronaldo and even though he scored his 51st professional hat trick against Spain tonight it was still a great game. And I'm much more of a Rugby fan anyway.

Some good games today.

Just watched the Australia v France game. Disappointed in the result.

Next up Argentina v Iceland. Easy to pick a team in that one, hand of God my arse...

Denmark v Peru later. I'll be on your side in that one Bjorn.

Last off Croatia v Nigeria. No idea who I want to win, probably will have had my fill by then anyway.

LOL Lionel Missy more like.

Yes I know only about three people will get that. Its still less obscure than most of Fife's jokes though.

I was checking this out yesterday and it was fun (like always) but watching Morraco score against themselves was to watch.
