No, it's not funny in this case either. And it could have been worse if it happened to a gun owner, since no knock raids can make them believe they're being attacked by criminals instead of police. In that case, it could've led to the deaths of cops and the gun owner who really just wanted to defend himself.

Swatting is both a symptom of a diseased society, and poor standard operating procedures of the police.
