No, I’m not "ignoring" those, SF. I'm pointing out that same skin tone is irrelevant, and has historically been irrelevant, in the context of race based genocides because the concept of "race" itself works and had worked just fine if two peoples look excatly alike.

You, or I for that matter, may not be able to tell the visual difference between a Pole and a German, but to the Nazis that was the difference between an untermensch and an ubermensch. All it takes to be a member of a race, is for someone to create the classification that puts you in race category A, rather than race category B. Wait half a decade and the classifications change, and you are now race category N.

If every political opponents were dead, I'd be pretty lonely.

No, the world would not be any better. It would be way worse, even if I'm correct in every political question (which I'm probably not).

Removing half of your opponents, would only drive the remaining half to divide and fight against each other too. So you're not going to get rid of political opponents permanently, and you don't want to either, because sometimes they're right.

Charles Krauthammer, the famed conservative columnist, informed readers on Friday that he is confronting an aggressive form of cancer.

"My doctors tell me their best estimate is that I have only a few weeks left to live," he wrote.

Krauthammer shared the devastating news in a short, matter-of-fact note on the website of the Washington Post, where he has been a columnist since 1984.

"I leave this life with no regrets," he wrote in the farewell message. "It was a wonderful life -- full and complete with the great loves and great endeavors that make it worth living. I am sad to leave, but I leave with the knowledge that I lived the life that I intended."
