We call 'em (katawba) worms.

Just angle the boat under the limbs of a catawba tree on the bank, and pick the worms off the underside of the leaves. Free bait. No one sells rockworms. I think they might even be threatened.

As noted before, its the opening weekend of black powder season, and we're in for some food waiting out a band of thunderstorms.
