Wait ... wait ... I just figured out the Google. You can simply type your question into that search bar thingy. Here you go, Kath:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of ... ted_States

John Quincy Adams - pardoned Wekau and Chickhonsic – Ho-Chunk leaders pardoned for their role in the Winnebago War

Those would be the earliest non-convicts to be pardoned according to Wikipedia.
It lists the reason they were pardoned.

Muhammad Ali - pardoned by President Trump for not having committed any crimes. Where's the list of people who were pardoned without having a criminal record?

I just gave you the earliest entry that included no accompanying criminal record.
Will reposting it help you, or would it be wasted effort?

pardoned for their role in the Winnebago War

It states a reason. There's no "reason" to pardon Ali. Who is the first person to be pardoned for no reason? This should be easy.

Pardoned for his role in the Vietnam War.
Derp.

You’re right tho, that was easy.

People are not grasping how broad this power really is.

Let’s not expand Kath’s limitations to the rest of humanity.

Poke fun - I don't care. I fully admit to having a hard time grasping illogical nonsense. I'm not ashamed of it. StA- I don't think the power to pardon people posthumously for not having committed any crimes makes the power "broad." It makes it illogical.

The kid talks illogical nonsense all the time. I understand all the words, but when they come out in that order, they make no sense. Very frustrating to try and understand nonsense. Not sure I would be at all proud if I were able to grasp silly and meaningless nonsense immediately.

He refused the draft. He was convicted.

The conviction was overturned in 1971. By the Supreme Court. In a unanimous decision.

There is no conviction to pardon him for.

Let's try the question a different way. A pardon now, before any charges, means they cannot be tried for the crime. Ali already couldn't be charged with a the "act" he is being pardoned for.

We have any historical examples of people who could not be charged with a crime getting a pardon?
