Wildwood police officials said they are investigating the incident. They identified the officers as Class II Patrolmen Thomas Cannon, John Hillman, and Robert Jordan.

Class II officers go through the same police academy and receive the same training as their permanent colleagues.

Tourist cops trained the same as permanent cops.

I think they took it too far, honestly. If anything, they should wait for an adult to show up and admit they supplied minors with alcohol and arrest that person.
