Miss America is scrapping its swimsuit competition and will no longer judge contestants based on physical appearance, the organization announced Tuesday.

NFL players still looking for a handout, and apparently crushed to learn that actions have consequences. Really guys, if you were making such a strong, moral, stand for your beliefs - why all the bitching? It was really important to you to kneel during the anthem for "the cause", now you're bitching because people don't want to reward anthem-kneelers. You think MLK was looking for free barbecue handouts when he ran up against opposition? You think Nelson Mandela complained that he wasn't getting free barbecue while he sat in prison for decades?

But you whiny brats put on a big national show with your "activism" for "the cause", and then spend every minute afterward bitching about your action having consequences. I have to question both your commitment to the cause and conviction to your beliefs. Seems like the anthem isn't all you won't stand for - you apparently don't stand for anything at all.

Oh hell no. I don't think I've watched since I was a kid and we had rabbit ears that brought in 2 channels. They were always stupid, they only got a lot of viewers when choices were limited and you were forced to watch.

They really, really should strike this Fall, because of racial injustice or whatevs. If this is as big a deal as they grandstand about they should definitely be willing to put their jobs on the line.

I just find it interesting how things like a beauty pageant try to stay relevent and inoffensive with the outrage police running wild.
