Now replace “Gowdy” with “Trump”.
Bah................. if Hillary won we wouldn't know any of this stuff about the FBI Spying.
Just to play Devil's Advocate for a moment...
Is it better for the country to know about shitty behavior, and watch it being ignored, or for us never to have known?
Because the machine is still working flawlessly. It doesn't appear to matter that it's exposed now.

A few years ago, if I told the average normie that CNN is propaganda and lies to them every single day, they'd think I was crazy. Now everybody knows it's a fact.
2016 was a watershed moment.
A recent poll showed that even people who hate Trump realize that the MSM is lying to them. Think about that. Nobody trusts the leviathan and the lies aren't holding it up any longer.

...and yet it continues, unabated. People just flock harder to other news outlets, owned by the same people, doing the same things.
The effect is destabalizing to the nation, but does not affect the corruption whatsoever.

The idea that destabilizing the nation won't have an effect on the corruption is false.
Give it time.
The swamp is draining.
Killing the creatures that dwelled there will take some more time.

The swamp is unaffected. Destabilizing the nation simply destroys the entire rotten tree. It does not cut out the rot.
But sure, we can ride this thing for another few years, holding our breath.

You are saying two different things at the same time.
Less snark, more clarity.

I’m being sincere. The effect of destabilizing the nation is not a positive against corruption. Corruption is not affected by destabilization, until the entire structure falls apart.
Examples include Russia, China, the entire third world.
If anything was going to be accomplished by pissing people off, then 2008 and the Great Bank Heist would have done it. Yet we’re all still sitting here talking about it. And nothing has changed.

I’d didn’t mean you weren’t sincere.
But you are both saying the swamp isn’t draining and it’s draining catastrophically at the same time.
Regardless that’s just how the cycle works.
The clowns don’t kill the swamp creatures. That’s what the honest politicians do. The honest don’t get here until the waters is drained from the swamp exposing then to the light.
It takes time.
Nobody is of the impression that trump is somehow above the swamp.

No. I’m saying that the swamp hasn’t budged, and never will.
And yes, that is exactly what Trump and his supporters have been trumpeting for 2 years now - that he’s above the swamp, and will drain it.
I’m telling you that it doesn’t drain until the entire government is pulled down.
The fact that you even used the term “honest politicians” tho...

Ha.
Nick accused of being too kind to government.
It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.
