I actually said that out loud when they asked the question about the hospital bombing. How do these people not know that? Oh yeah, they're career politicians.

...as doctors are sworn to do, regardless of enemy affiliation. Of course they wouldn't mark the building, as it would make them a target for militias. Those dead are heroes, and the button-punchers violated a rule of engagement tracing back to the Civil War.

If there's evidence that they knew it was a hospital, then they should be brought up as war criminals.

If we're calling it a "limited engagement", or some other ridiculous shit, then it was a terrorist act.

The laws of armed conflict allow for a hospital to be targeted, even if marked, if it is being used by the enemy as a fighting position from which to engage you, any hospital which is not clearly marked, forgoes any and all protections under the laws of armed conflict as being a hospital, an unmarked hospital is no hospital at all, for the purposes of the laws of armed conflict.
