Last Man Standing was No. 2 for ABC when it was canceled and there was no Roseanne type comment to blame. Roseanne was No. 1 when it was canceled. Sound like they have money to burn and better talent in the wings......................... Yippidy Do for ABC.

From what I heard the cancelation of Last Man Standing had to do with the fact that ABC never produced it but FOX. So they had to pay FOX a fee to air that on their station and after like 6 seasons they decided to not invest in newer episodes.

I'd never heard that before. I know they cited costs. But c'mon, it was their No 2 show, they probably raked in at least 30 Million a year in ad revenue. Roseanne was bringing in 60 Million. ABC is a Disney company along with ESPN and they have clearly shown their political leanings and intolerance for views that different from their Proletkult. They go light on Lefty bombasts, hammer all others.

“Last Man Standing” is also produced by outside studio 20th Century Fox TV, and not ABC Studios, which means there’s less potential financial reward for ABC’s parent company, Disney. While Dungey said that many reasons go into a cancellation decision (ratings, viewer engagement, critical acclaim, ideas for future seasons), ownership structure plays a role. Still, she said, “I wouldn’t say that was the sole factor in not bringing ‘Last Man Standing’ back.”

“Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee apologized Thursday after she used an extreme vulgarity to slam Ivanka Trump in her monologue on Wednesday over a photograph the first daughter shared on social media, calling her a “feckless c---.

The apology came a day after Bee used the slur on her TBS show, shocking viewers and critics alike.

"I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night," Bee said in a statment. "It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it."

TBS also issued an apology shortly after Bee's tweet: "Samantha Bee has taken the right action in apologizing for the vile and inappropriate language she used about Ivanka Trump last night. Those words should not have been aired. It was our mistake too, and we regret it."...
