You will have to share some photos taken from the top of the tower when it is complete.

That's one of our ancestral kings. I hope they study the burial, but leave him to rest.

It's only about 40 miles away but I'm ashamed to say I've never been. Until recently there was very little to see apart from the mounds themselves but there has been some money spent on a visitors centre and I think some of the grave goods have been returned to the site from the British museum.
Been talking about going with a workmate but not got it together yet. Will be sure to post some pics when I do. Might even volunteer for some digging when they start in the Autumn.
