As if you didn't know that going in? Were you really that stupid that you didn't know Seattle and King County was chock full of liberals? Hell most of Western Washington state, West of the cascades is that way. Has been that way for a while. It is the house liberals built.

There's a big difference between living in the United States which may switch conservative from time to time, and moving to an area/state which is predominately liberal and bitching about liberals constantly.

In actuality the head tax money will likely be spent as a funding stopgap measure for the Seattle City Council’s overspending.

This is happening everywhere and it’s not just progressives. Every state and municipality is trying to scratch up stopgap funds. Everything from ‘earmarks’ that magically get diverted from their intended use to seizures that are used to pay for municipal goodies to property tax increases that are intended to have most of the money siphoned off for uses entirely unrelated to the stated reason for the increase.
