Possibly. Possibly not.Kath wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 12:55 pmWho owns the Milk Street Cafe, one of the people "claiming" to be a small business owner in Zuccoti Park, who was impacted by the disgusting bathroom habits of OWS? Probably Walmart, amiright?
Milk Street Cafe
99 reviews
$ · Sandwiches, Kosher, Sushi Bars
Also, impacted, Tent & Trails $$ · Outdoor Gear. Their Wordpress page is proof they are owned by mega billionaires.
Lol - seriously, stop wondering why people think you talk out your ass sometimes.
There's more, but my point is beyond proven. All these small business owners cannot be lying.
For the third time - if a legit small business was hurt, then I oppose it.
But I'd hardly be surprised to learn that the reports were bullshit.

You just can't imagine how a local person can run a local Jewish deli in a city that is flowing with locally owned restaurants?GrumpyCatFace wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 1:00 pm

The City, sure. Not Manhattan. Unless they inherited a 'special deal' from their ancestors, nobody could afford to set up shop there as a "mom n' pop" - at least not by my definition.Kath wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 1:03 pmYou just can't imagine how a local person can run a local Jewish deli in a city that is flowing with locally owned restaurants?GrumpyCatFace wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 1:00 pm

By all means, feel free to tell the owner of the Milk Street Cafe that he is a corporate tool, and doesn't actually own his shop. He hasn't been in business for himself for the last 30 years. Nope, not him. He's a lackey for his Corporate overlords. Sure GCF... sure... you know better than all the local business owners in NY.GrumpyCatFace wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 1:08 pm

Marc Epstein, owner of the Milk Street Cafe at 40 Wall Street, just let 21 employees go.
The reason? The barricades police have set up throughout Wall Street as a consequence of the ongoing demonstration.
“Everything was going in the right direction. Sales continued to grow. We started to build our catering business. Costs were going down. I felt that by October or November we would break even.”

Seems ambiguity is difficult for you to accept.Kath wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 1:16 pmBy all means, feel free to tell the owner of the Milk Street Cafe that he is a corporate tool, and doesn't actually own his shop. I'm not going to eat up your reports of OWS protestors deliberately trashing local businesses, but I oppose the actions, if true.
If you need a black/white support/oppose, I can't give it to you, sorry.

The man hates religion, but has unwavering, unquestioning, devoted faith in the leftist socio-political narrative. Obviously Samantha Bee and the media are lying to protect the interests of megacorps and financial institutions.
Duh.
Duh.

You’ve certainly proved yourself the undisputed arbiter of what is “rational”, no doubt.
