I don't think that homeless people are going to set up shop in Starbucks. It's not the kind of place they like to be.
Guess we’ll see. As they tend to pack into any “free” space they can, be it libraries, green spaces, buses, or train cars I don’t see why you think they’ll pass up on Starbucks.

A clean, dry space with a bathroom and middle class people to beg from? Sounds pretty ideal to me.

I'm not saying it can't happen. but all the places DB mentioned for example, are places where they can more or less be left alone. Starbucks coffee shops are crammed places, with lots of coming and going, with caffeinated talking people. It just doesn't strike me as the kind of place a crazy bum wants to set up shop. Even if I'm wrong and the bums do move in, they'll get the boot, bet that.

I remember what happened to all the bathrooms outside of Wall Street when OWS set up camp. The horror stories about the mess were frequent and there were pictures of bathrooms that literally made me vomit.
Once this starts going down, Starbucks will no longer be considered a clean place to hang out.
According to one restaurant owner, the restroom sink was ripped off the wall because a protester was using it to take a shower. And that's not all: "Somebody walked into the store and shit all over the place, and they thought it was fine to leave it like that," says one worker.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

Megacorp is stunned that protesters against megacorps were hostile to their places of business.
