I guess my questions is....why do people in power think subsidizing third world immigrants to the detriment of White European Americans is a net benefit? Obviously they do, because they continue to push policies aimed at making it dam near impossible for a middle class family to raise kids while simultaneously making it easier for non-white immigrants to do so - The numbers are in - there's no more debating that this is occurring....

What am I missing? Most billionaires are white - so why try to eradicate your own kind?

We all agree, with few exceptions, that immigration should be mostly merit-based and should not be to the detriment of Americans. That said:

1) class trumps race - you are not the same ‘kind’ as wealthy white people. Even middle class white people have more in common with poc of the same educational and class level than they do with white people from a different background.
2) you assume the only thing keeping families from having lots of kids is government policy. The reality is that the more educated the populace, the lower the birthrate.
3) you assume that it’s easier for immigrants to raise children than you. If you lower your standards considerably, it will be just as ‘easy’ for you to raise children. I hope we raise our standards, not lower them.

One thing the Trump presidency definitely brought to my attention is just how broken our immigration system is. I always assumed that things were fucked up because Republicans love cheap labor and Democrats loves votes. Nothing ever changed because both sellout parties didn’t want it to change - but i erroneously assumes it *could* be changed, easily if desired.

Along comes Trump, and every time he’s tried to restrict immigration in any way the courts step in with a big, fat, NO.

What the fuck? How did we wind up in this situation, where the judicial systems feels entitled to declare open-borders America forever, and “fuck what the president says”?!?! I never would’ve believed it if I hadn’t witnessed it. That’s some real “deep state” level shot right there. America can’t close its own borders, not while these judges are around at least.
