Babysitting in pajamas is not doing most of the work.

Having a career as a model is work. And quitting that to babysit in pajamas so your cheating spouse has the availability commit to $100million contracts deserves compensation.

I completely disagree with what you think deserves compensation.
Quitting your job to babysit in pajamas so your cheating spouse can keep you sitting pretty in millions is not a job title I've ever heard of.

A military man should have a fitmer grasp of self sacrifice and working for the greater good, methinks.
If the team dissolves and divide up assets, members should be compensated for their sacrifices, not only for how much they personally accrued as a team member.

I get a kick out of you all arguing with each other like this is dissolving a partnership between 2 people at arms length.
You're forgetting about some of the other partners in the partnership. The state and the divorce bar might not have invested anything into partnership; but they have a significant return coming from its dissolution.

In the context of that failed business, how does stealing the 30% of capital 80% man contributed constitute compensating him for his sacrifice??DBTrek wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 9:53 amA military man should have a fitmer grasp of self sacrifice and working for the greater good, methinks.

You are defending the opposite of compensating people for their sacrifice. Total opposite. How do you not recognize that?
Or in the context of Matt Lauer's wife what did she sacrifice that is commensurate with 25 million dollars? It seems to me that, had she never married him, she'd be middle class at best, no? How could she have sacrificed anything worth 25 million dollars?

Now you're talking about something else, though.
We went from glorified babysitter, which was an overstatement given the certainty that their homes featured armies of paid Guatemalan help, to team member.
I agree the different situations ought to see different outcomes, but I wouldn't push it so far as an expectation of compensation as though it was a business deal.
There's a lot of things a man and woman ought to do in their marriage. I'm not much for every other person in the country weighing in on what the woman gets and what the man has to give (which covers more than 99% of the cases) when the marriage ends.

Models can earn $25 million. Matt may have earned significantly less without having a spouse to handle affairs that he would’ve otherwise had to personally handle. Thus missed opportunities and self-sacrifice for the advancement of a partner (aka taking one for the team) should be compensated.
Not rocket science, boyos.
