I know I’m not keeping up with all the nonsense lately, but I haven’t seen any sort of change in course.C-Mag wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 12:08 amYou literally make me laugh you cynical bastard. I say that with zero negatives too.
Listen, historically speaking, we live in the very best of times in the very best geographic location on this little blue marble. That alone should stem some of your cynicism. There is a hell of a lot to be thankful for, for us, we bitching privileged humans. We dodged a huge, fucking huge bullet not electing HIllary.
We would know nothing of the FBI, CIA and DOJ being used as political arms of the POTUS. It would become standard practice. But because the Cheetoh Bombast won, we all get to take a hard look at government. We have Congress standing up to the POTUS for the first time in probably 40 years. We have a press that is not automatically printing what the Whitehouse wants.............. their still backing the old Establishment, but they have revealed themselves as corrupt establishment agents.
It's a fucking awesome time to be alive. Not without it's problems. But we get to live to watch the biggest shake up in government since the election of Lincoln take place. It's pretty damn cool.
I'm a weird guy, I thrive in chaos.
The media corps are still issuing 2,000 channels of mindless drivel and commercials. I’m still watching the entire constitution burn in front of me, the Fed is still huffing at the Greatest Financial Bubble in History, and there’s a lovely police state developing, while some orange sociopath tweets nonsense from the shitter. We’ve seen 2 potential nuclear wars in a year, and the only thing changing is the staggering rate of turnover in DC.
Show me some quantifiable positive change, and I’ll jump on the Trump wagon. I’d love to have something to cheer for.
