One wonders what percentage of openly gay scout leaders molest boys verse straight identifying scout leaders. If less, it would mean your children would be statistically safer with openly gay men than with any self identifying straight men.

If it has something to do with the preference of fathers, no sensible father would hand his son over to an openly gay scout leader.

But really, what would your “sensible father” say if it turned out he was endangering his son by insisting only “straight” men lead him in a scout troop? Change of heart or double down on prejudice?

And it’s not a very hypothetical question, there’s probably a study out there with an answer.

You can call it rational or irrational, or whatever you please. If I had a son, he would not be attending any voluntary function of any kind with an openly gay male leader.

I have a now-adult daughter, and I never had that question come up; outside of her getting her hair did. Which actually led to some really funny discussions.

But if anybody could find any case of an openly gay scout leader molesting boys, that would be interesting. We have many cases of straight identified scout leaders doing just that. I'm asking for just one case.

They can't just admit that homosexuals tend to commit more sexual assault than heterosexuals by a pretty large percentage.
