Masculinity

Post by C-Mag »

We have a long running Feminism thread, thought it would be nice to have a Masculinity one.

Lots of talk about Masculinity today, Toxic Masculinity, Men Going their own way, lots of stuff. One of the weirder things I've come across is the University of Texas is treated Masculinity as a Mental Disorder.

That pisses me off so much.

I really hope there is light at the end of the tunnel, but every day I see something more and more toxic coming from the Academy

I find myself tearing apart our front closet this weekend, to fix a mold problem that we found. Apparently, it was cool 50 years ago to not insulate exterior walls whatsoever.

Secure in my manhood.

How's your grip, boys?

You're being judged on that, you know. You give some actual male a dead fish handshake, and it's Sayonara Gazoots, out the door with him, Susie.

Bonus question: Have you got the Fonzarelli touch?

Here's a topic for a research paper:

How come the people who talk and obsess the most about masculinity are precisely the same people no one would go to for advice on the subject?

What, do you need to go beat some mold into submission with a drywall tool?

Do you even mold remediate, bro??

Spent all weekend cleaning my gutters, installing gutter guards, removing a cat door, restoring a sliding door, and repairing a falling fence.
Spent 0% worrying about masculinity.

Insulation installed, hanging drywall now. Took a brief timeout to scratch my balls a moment ago. Yep, still there.
