People act like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama came out of nowhere, but it's not actually the case, they were entrenched in the party, they didn't parachute in from Hollywood or anything like that, the Clinton's were a known element, Barack Obama not as known, but he wasn't a parachute in candidate.

Like, if they had another Barack Obama up their sleeves, you'd be able see him coming by now.

Which is why I assume that the Democrats will have to settle for a candidate who doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell against Incumbent Trump in 2020. The opposition almost always runs a donkey against an incumbent POTUS, don't see why 2020 would be any different.

Democrats should just openly run on white genocide at this point. At least be honest.

Exactly, they don't have anything that plays well across the board, Trump doesn't have to be popular with anybody but the people he has now to win, the Democrats don't have anybody who is going to crack the Trump base, they don't have anybody who can win anywhere Red, they're in the same predicament, they have urban centers and deep Blue pockets, but they don't have anything which can sweep the electoral college.

With the Democrats, it's not the candidates, It's their policies, the Democrat platform is a non starter anywhere Red, whereas Trump can win in the Blue, the Democrats are married to their SJW platform, that traps them in a certain set of districts, Trump is not ideological, he can adopt positions which can win in the Red and the Blue, smaller base, but much more widely distributed, and tighter knit, Trump in the purple, electoral college FTW.

Michelle Obama is a non-starter. Can't see many supporting that bid. I doubt she wants it.

I think you're wrong, actually. They love husband-wife teams, in the DNC. "This worked before, let's do it again!"

Lets run another former first lady the next time around, it worked so well the last time. Brilliant idea!

She might run, but she can't beat Trump, doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell. What she going to do run against her husbands platform and shit on his legacy, she'll do things differently this time? Not a chance, she'll just be Obama's third term, the voters just rejected that.

The Trump effect is just gerrymandering on a national scale, the GOP has gerrymandered the whole fuckin' country now, they have been working for decades at the state legislature level, to gerrymander the whole kibbutz, and at this point, they have the Democrats boxed in, trapped, in a deep Blue, but very narrow distribution.
