Of all the not-good-at-all-for-you junk processed food, it's the best!

I never said it didn't sound nice. It just confirms my suspicion that Americans put cheese on everything.
My guilty pleasure is cheese triangles such as laughing cow or dairy lea. I'm eating a chapati I brought back from work spread with laughing cow right now.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

That's a common misconception. In fact, we do put dairy on everything we eat.

Last night, I made some cornbread, using 1/2 stick of butter. And then put butter on it. :D

I've been feeding twenty 18 year old American students this week. A lot of them had the beef curry option tonight, I was quite surprised as I was expecting them all to go for the salmon or the pasta.
The peach crumble and custard all disappeared. They sound like Californians to me but I don't really know American dialects that well.

Beef is big here. A lot of people don't even like sea food, myself included (unless it's something I caught.)

Luckily we had a group of quilters in as well. Old ladies always go for the salmon.

Also, Californians generally don't have an accent. But most Americans are losing their accents anyway. It's very rare to hear someone speak with a full southern accent with younger people but there is still a difference.
