Kelley is a former U.S. Air Force member who served from 2010 to 2014. He was dishonorably discharged and court martialed in May 2014

Kelley was court martialed in November 2012 and a judge sentenced him with a bad-conduct discharge, 12 months confinement, and two reductions in rank to basic airman, according to an appeals court decision in 2013 that affirmed the decision against Kelley.

It will be interesting to learn what he did in the AF to get himself Court Martialed.

If that's what happened, I think they are making a mistake. They were within their rights to shoot. They had no idea if he had other weapons in that vehicle. He just killed 27 people. That's a storming-the-clock-tower scenario. They did all right by me.
