Florida time zone - because server is in Florida.

Put it at 00:00 - so that would be the 30th.

Damn... this forum is having trouble catching a break... :x

Yes it does. You're in a time zone that I don't even recognize. If he shows GMT 5am it's 12am in Florida where the server is. You're not even in central time which would show 11pm. You're in that one one over. Mountain I think.

There is no one true time. Penner's probably on the left coast, putting the time back another hour to 2100.

Even when I was Europe, I didn't use GMT. CET was 6 or 7 hours apart from home, depending on the time of year.

Important to get this right for when we are lobbying for it to be a national holiday.
MHF day, a day dedicated to never ending arguments.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

There is. It's the server time. Everything else is our perception of the events as they relate to the server including the time and date Penner registered on the site.

Daylight savings is -6 the rest of the year is -7 but I forget their dates because I'm not sure if their daylight savings lines up with ours date wise.

Berlin is UTC+1 though so it depends on where in Europe. London and Berlin are an hour apart.

Nah. The only time that matters is the one you're in, for these purposes anyway. Unless you've got a wall of clocks with everyone's names under the different time zones.

Yeah the dates are off by a couple weeks. Makes shit stupid.

Dude that's all relative to the server. As in when Penner signed up. I don't care if she did it from the moon it happened at a specific time. We all exist on the same plane of time but we tell it differently based on our location. We are looking for the actual point of time she registered on the site which in this timeline happened in Florida and our perception of that time depends on our location.

Everything regarding what time things happen on the server is relative to UTC-5.
