I don't get the impression many guys realize how far this could potentially spread and how destructive it can get. Women will make batshit allegations even just for the attention. History bears this out. Witch trials incoming.

This seems to be Spacy's play. I'd say, being a man often means you are attracted to youth and innocence, but need to learn self restraint and some men don't.

Smart move by Spacey. Sorta, maybe, begrudgingly admit something could have happened and apologize for that, without really taking responsibility AND announce that you're coming out in the same sentence. Going by how major stars coming out usually gets treated in entertainment news, it looks like a deliberate misdirection tactic.
