Oh ho, Cappy, Jeff Carter out long term?

Do I smell a Duchene to LA trade coming?

Remember when I said LA would bounce back this year? Kopitar, Doughty, and Johnny Quick rebound seasons, just like I called it, but with Carter out long term, they might have to make a move here.

Let's see, what does LA have to trade? Adrian Kempe? Gabriel Vilardi? Kale Clague?

Battle of Ontario; T-minus one hour, got a bad feeling, the Sens always bring it at the ACC, better have their shit together against the Ottawa Karlsson's, or this could get ugly real fast.

I'm just a happy the Bruins are actually wining a few......thought this seasons was a loss after they got rid of Claude....Still bitter about that.

Meh, not worried about the Bruins, too slow, one line team, McAvoy's not ready to be the man yet, the Leafs can handle them, the new Leafs matchup really well against the B's.

The primary threats in the division are Tampa and Ottawa, after those two, it might actually be Carolina, depending on how Scott Darling plays.

Ottawa doesn't get enough respect, the way Boucher has them playing, defence first, rapid transition, unleash the Karlsson, that's bad ju-ju for the Leafs.

Yep, the Loafs just throwing the puck up the ice into the Boucher trap, coming right back down their throats, looks like it's gonna be a long night, like I said, had a bad feeling.

Pens acquire Riley Sheahan? Pretty good fourth line option for the Pens actually, maybe he'll find his scoring touch with a change of scenery, maybe he won't, but that's a heavy load on the fourth line, with 6'3" 225 lbs Sheahan and 6'1" 225 lbs Reaves.

First significant trade of the season, let the festivities begin.

Leafs sign Polak to a one year at $1.1 million, looks like Babs has seen enough of Carrick getting pushed around in his own end.

They need to trade for a legit NHL backup goalie. Antti Niemi fucking sucks!
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!

There's not a whole lotta options out there, things are so tight in the league these days, backup goalie could be difference between making the playoffs or not, so if teams have a good one, they're loathe to give em' up, and the Pens don't have much to trade, who are you going to trade? Elite backup like Mike Condon or Montoya? That would cost, you probably wouldn't want to give up the player the Pens would have to give up.
