The anthem kneeling “would have never happened during my time,” Light said. “As a guy that’s been there and helped set up the Patriot Way so they can walk in there and do what they do, it’s beyond disheartening. It’s the first time I’ve ever been ashamed to be a Patriot. And I promise you I’m not the only one.”
No one on the Texans appeared to kneel, and given how tightly Bill Belichick has always run his ship, Light said he was surprised this would happen on his watch.
“Nobody can force anybody to do anything in a situation like that. If he chooses to do it he’s going to do it,” Light said. “But I’m going to tell you this much, with the amount of preparation and attention to detail and all the things that happen in that organization, I’m really surprised that it wasn’t dealt with so it didn’t get to that point.”
I'm surprised Belichick went along with this. For someone who's Captain Zero Distraction and "we're onto [insert next team]..." this is way out of line for him.
Meanwhile, CBS is deciding to push the idea that this was good for the sport:

They are only tuning in to watch athletes shit all over America. Why not just get rid of the expensive players have Antifa run around on the field burning American flags for an hour?
Maybe get some HD close-ups of Sascrotch's hairy snatch as she throws wine bottles and explosives around the field.
I'm very curious to see if the NFL plays it like this? My god, I personally know several people who are done with the NFL and any other athletes caught up in it (for a while anyway), and I live in Washington State!
Several owners of National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) teams have claimed they will back Donald Trump’s suggestion that NFL players who protest the national anthem should be fired.
“Anybody that don’t stand up for the anthem oughta’ be out of the country, period,” Richard Petty, owner of Richard Petty Motorsports, told The Associated Press. “What got ’em where they’re at? The United States.”
When asked if a protester at Richard Petty Motorsports would be fired, Petty responded, “You’re right.”
Meanwhile, Richard Childress, the owner of Richard Childress Racing, also revealed he would not tolerate any sign of disrespect.
“It’ll get you a ride on a Greyhound bus,” Childress said. “Anybody that works for me should respect the country we live in. So many people gave their lives for it. This is America.”

Holy shit man, are you serious right now??????
Hey, you put out a claim, so let's see your facts to explain it, and don't say "look at my posts". If you can't easily explain your thought process, then you are no better than a trollish hack.
Actually I put it in black and white but you're to fucking dumb to read and comprehend. I gave you the biggest point but there are many others.
You mean the blatherskite you post? Sorry, I don't read potato.
The real test for the NFL will be next week's games. I bet a lot of people were not aware of this going into Sunday afternoon. Now that they have seen it, let's see how many return next week with time to soak it in.
I'm not doing a full boycott yet, but I have decided to stop buying the McFarlane/Madden NFL figures. I don't want to display statues of these kinds of players in my home. Unless of course they release a figure of Villanueva in his anthem stance.

Remember the Rust Belt? This is going to drive them further away from the democrats.
You mean 8 years of Obama didn't do that to them? What makes you think this would be any different? Hell... if they are still voting Democrat before the Election, then they are just outright hopeless and dumb. (you choose which comes first)

Yes next week will be interesting. It will be interesting to see how many season ticket holders will say screw it next year. I personally know 2 different season ticket holders for the Steelers that are done. They listed all their 2017 tickets for sale and are looking to sell their seat leases.

He said "drive them further away" not, starting to drive them away. My god your reading compensation is shit.
