Whoa hold on, since when is protesting anything anti-American?
It's not, but disrespecting the national anthem is anti-American, not my fault they decided to both at the same time and rub people the wrong way, that's their fault.
Protesting something is as American as apple pie my Canadian friend.
When did I say it wasn't? They could have chosen any other time to protest, but they did it during the national anthem, therefore people are going to see the protest as anti-american no matter what their cause is. It's not rocket surgery, they brought this on themselves and deserve the scorn heaped upon them for their lack of common sense.
They drew attention to their cause, but it's negative attention that discredits the cause they fight for by association. They are torpedoing the cause they claim to fight for by disrespecting the national anthem to virtue signal like a bunch of faggots, it's that simple.
