Not at all. Gravlax is made with fresh raw salmon. Lutefisk is hard dried stockfish soaked in a lye solution. The salmon is usually frozen and thawed to kill any parasites just like when you make sushi. Then it is rubbed with a mix of salt, sugar and dill. Usually some vodka is added as well. Then you put cover it in plastic and put it in the fridge for a couple of days. It is more like carpaccio.

Or you can use some of your cheap whiskey instead of the vodka. Better than drinking it. ;)
