So... Sanders and Cortezio are not real socialists?
They start with the lie that they just want more taxes and more welfare.

What choice? Grow your own food? SCOTUS said nay, nay, way back in Wickard v. Filburn.California wrote: ↑Fri Aug 03, 2018 11:25 amIf it is involuntary, as in income tax, it is stealing. Consumption taxes leave a choice and therefore consent
You can always choose to go hungry, I guess.
Consent means Voluntary. I don't voluntarily agree to pay sales tax, do you? I just get the choice of pay up or don't make the trade.

Sure that's technicality, but it resolves my belief that taxes need to have consent

If you want to argue that the Government oppressively taxes...then I agree...but it's all legal...the King can levy taxes.

You don't need to go tinfoil hat about it. She's admitted who she is and what she wants. So has bernie.

You don't have to work at a job that withholds taxes, either.
Consider what "voluntary" really means. Is there anything so horrible about allowing people to act in a voluntary manner? And how would that lead to outcomes any worse than we get with the compulsory lives we trudge through now?

I don't know for sure about Shithole Yankeedom; but down here there are plenty of people who go to great lengths to make their livings on a cash-only basis, if you know what I mean.
