People are so mystified by Stalin's reaction to Hitler invading. Stalin was working with the US and England to make sure they did. He liquidated entire officer classes to keep them quite. He didn't want to be prepared for the German offensive. He wanted it to happen exactly like it did and he worked with higher powers the entire time all the way to the nuclear bomb.

Some people really are more bad than others, Stalin & Hitler were exponentially worse than any argument you can possibly make against FDR and Churchill. All 4 were egotists and cynical manipulators, but only the former were dictators and mass executioners of their own people.

I think you vastly underestimate Churchill's role in making two God damned world wars happen.

He was actually a real piece of shit. He and FDR were conspiring in secret for years about how to get Americans into that war.
