Too many people think like Kath that Jon will give up the throne and head north for a reunion with his BFF's. Hence Bran and Sansa being the frontrunners. Seems like some sharps might have inside information that Bran will win, or Jon won't, and they trust those sources, otherwise the lines makes no sense, public betting idiocy alone wouldn't explain it, I don't think. Though public betting idiocy does explain Littlefinger at +6000, so you never know.

So might be a trap, but even so 10/1 odds on Jon, and Bran -450, seems like too much faith in inside sources, how's that working out for CNN? Maybe this is just the ultimate example of the betting public being flat out retarded though, can't say for sure.

Tyrion surviving the series is -400, Tyrion dying is +250, dog or pass on that one. Though I do think Bronn bails him out, but -400 is also steep.

Re-listened to Wrath of the Khans this week. How much cooler would this have been if GRRM had made the Dothraki use compound bows?

From the sound of it, they would have been unbeatable. Imagine the battle vs White Walkers though...

Re-listened to Wrath of the Khans this week. How much cooler would this have been if GRRM had made the Dothraki use compound bows?

From the sound of it, they would have been unbeatable. Imagine the battle vs White Walkers though...

Spear and shield + archers = irrelevant horse archers, compound bow or no. Of course, in GoT infantry armies fight even major battles with swords as their primary weapon, use no helmets and cavalry only use lances at tourneys.
