I’m always fascinated to see how other cultures view the US, but it’s nearly impossible thanks to our media dominance.

Hoping he gets a little less polite as the show goes on.

Fry is always polite but I seem to remember that he confronted a homophobic priest at one point.

Watched E1 of Good Omens yesterday. I'm in. Great performances from Michael Sheen and David Tennant as an angel and demon who have gone soft on Earth and aren't all that thrilled with Armageddon being at hand. Favorite bit: Little Antichrist is being delivered at a hospital run by secretly satanic nuns. They're a "Chattering Order" and one is Sister Loquacious. Helps to be familiar with The Omen, more references gotten, but not required.

I binge watched the series last week.
Excellent work with great acting, as you say.
Adding it to Episodes and Catastrophe as a great example of British and American talent coming together successfully.
Several laugh out loud moments.

That’s the one, yeah. Looks like it was filmed in 2016. One of his first stops was a Mitt Romney town hall.

I’m very hooked. He’s an excellent presenter, and he’s getting a good taste of the local flavor where he goes.
