Comparing Jesus to Stalin certainly is dramatic.

Like I said before: get ‘em during life or after-life for not being sufficiently egalitarian requires some hair-splitting to see the difference.
Ehhhh ... that theory kind of breaks down when you recognize the Christians, throughout history, have been among the poorest and most desperate of populations. Marxists obsess over wealth distribution because they want the real-world material value that the rich possess. But the Church isn't teaching "love your neighbor" and "feed the poor" because they want to fleece the impoverished masses searching for some hope and spiritual guidance. They're laying a moral foundation and value system that helps communities weather political and religious persecution. Marxism, on the other hand, acts directly opposite, and imposes political and religious persecution.

The argument strikes me as pretty close to "religion and science are the same because they both explain stuff".
Yet ... they're pretty much polar opposites.

Let's be clear, the Commies won; I didn't read Machiavelli for nothing...

The 25th amendment didn't work, so now they are trying to impeach him... again.

Rand Paul says Zero chance of conviction. I'm not so sure

The conviction isn't what you need to worry about, it's the ability to keep him from running for office again. You don't need a super-majority for that.

Agreed, ending his ability to run is important, but it's only half about Trump.

The other half is having a conviction to confirm Trumpism is a radical dangerous ideology. Then you can go after anyone weed who voted for Trump

It also leads to very dangerous precedence. In where anyone you don't agree with can be kept from running for office.

It raises the question though - can you keep someone from running for office if they haven't been convicted of a crime? That's the dangerous part, if you can exclude them even if not convicted of anything then you can exclude anyone.

They are trying it with Trump, then they are going to go after the RNC leadership, such as Cruz, etc...
