Anyway, here's he we got here, for those who aren't up to speed.

Here's hoping the fifth time is the charm.

Fight is on April 18, 2020. But this fight was first booked to happen back in December 11, 2015. Five years in the making, booked five different times, both guys pulled out twice each. Easily the most anticipated MMA fight of all time.

The above video runs through the timeline of the whole thing.

Cha-Ching, exploiting the panic of other sports leagues for mad profit.

God Bless The UFC, the only game in town.

How do they get to the HEG venue?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Plane. They certainly aren't going to walk or drive from America.

How will they do that under curfew? It's hardly essential employment?

As I said - interesting times.
I'm never a heat score anyways, this stuff is all aimed at the Millennials who are refusing to comply
Some of the things done seem backwards to me.

I started going out to the grocery around 10-11pm (they close midnight-6am, except Sunday they open 8am and close at 9pm). Very "low traffic" time to hit the store, avoiding crowds... So what do they do? They announce they're opening 6am-7:30am for "60+ at-risk elderly", ok, and they're closing at 8pm "to allow stocking of shelves", so being 55 I can't go early and I can't go late to avoid crowds.

Great move.

Then I'm hearing about "8pm curfew" - umm, bars are closed, everything "non-essential", and now even the grocery is closed - the only thing open is the gas station with it's little convenience store... So now if I run out at 10pm to put a few gallons of gas in I'll be stopped and fined?

FFS, I try to "social distance" by doing things at off hours, why is their solution to try and force me to have to do things during prime hours? Seems backwards.
I agree, the better solution IMO is to open the big stores for 24hrs a day and restock as they go. Certain items they could just wheel out on pallets and the customers would unpack them themselves.
You might still get peak times as people learn what time the deliveries arrive but they could mitigate that by staggering the restocking instead of filling the shelves as soon as the stocks are available.
Once the face mask and latex glove production has ramped up the stores need to be handing them out on the door which would help.
I'm just avoiding going out again until I'm starving, the time to stockpile goods has passed.
