Guy Fawkes had the right idea.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Only the monarch can shut it down lawfully.

The Queen should just shut it down and start over.
That old hag is probably too senile to remember to put in her dentures. She actually wanted to surrender to the Nazis, but Churchill talked her out of it as did her witnessing of the Blitz. She actually had to watch her own people being blown up by German planes to avoid letting Hitler take over the UK. True Story.

In her defense, she is still more patriotic and worried about her own people than 99.5% of the current British politicians, so there's that.

I knew it. At least a couple of the glitter bomb robberies were faked.

After internet sleuths closely scrutinized the video and alleged inconsistencies, Rober addressed two reactions, totaling about one-and-a-half minutes in the original video: "It appears (and I've since confirmed) in these two cases, the 'thieves' were actually acquaintances of the person helping me."

Watched the 1970 Albert Finney version last night. Don't remember seeing it before. Some top acting from the all-star cast and the singing was kept to a minimum.
7/10
Loses points for Scrooge buying a turkey instead of a goose at the end.
Still prefer the Muppets Christmas Carol which won top place in a recent poll of Xmas films.
