Definitely, I want to make sure to get it ASAP and spread it around by being in crowded situations, so when Capps needs the hospital ICU isolation bed with a ventilator I'm already in one of them and there's so many people sick because we failed to do anything to slow the spread - "irrelevant" per Capps - that there's no room for him, no ventilator. He can just die for all I care, and all his family, friends, etc, because I selfishly didn't care about spreading the virus or even slowing it's spread so hospitals don't get swamped

If you think shutting down the NBA will make any real difference in the rate the disease spreads, it's because you're stupid. The juice is not worth the squeeze.Ph64 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 6:04 amDefinitely, I want to make sure to get it ASAP and spread it around by being in crowded situations, so when Capps needs the hospital ICU isolation bed with a ventilator I'm already in one of them and there's so many people sick because we failed to do anything to slow the spread - "irrelevant" per Capps - that there's no room for him, no ventilator. You want to slow the rate the virus spreads? Then come up with a method that will actually work, don't just shut down sports leagues in an unjustified panic because one player in the entire league got the virus, that helps no one.

Define a "real difference"? 1%? 0.1%StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 6:13 amIf you think shutting down the NBA will make any real difference in the rate the disease spreads, it's because you're stupid. Suppose shutting down sportsball (all types) slows it down by 1%, is that a "real difference"?
Maybe limiting air travel is 2%... A "real difference"?
Closing schools, 5%? A "real difference"?
...all of the above, plus maybe closing museums, Broadway shows, & more... Say 10% total, a "real difference" yet?
Eh, no point in building that seawall at Fukushima a little higher, we've never had water that high, it won't make a "real difference".

We can't ban Muslims but we can ban Europeans and EU imports for not sanctioning Iran because our jews told us to.

Prove the juice is worth the squeeze, or shut the fuck up. If shutting down sportsball offers such little benefit, with lots of downsides, and you still want to shut it down anyway, that's because you're a panic monkey without a functioning brain.Ph64 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 6:37 amDefine a "real difference"? 1%? 0.1%StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 6:13 amIf you think shutting down the NBA will make any real difference in the rate the disease spreads, it's because you're stupid.
